ReadID is Innovalor‘s software product that checks the validity of identity documents via a smartphone with NFC. The NFC technology required to validate identity documents became available for Apple devices with the release of iOS 13. Our demo app ReadID NFC was released on the same day as iOS 13.

This app is also one of the first to use the new Apple frameworks SwiftUI and Combine.

I got involved into this project via my employer Innovalor. My role is lead iOS developer. You can read more about the app in this blog post.
